I want to talk about two words.
Two words I hear way too often.
"I can't."
Maybe it's in the middle of a workout. Maybe it's at practice. Maybe it's the voice in your head when things get hard.
"I can't do this."
"It's too hard."
"This isn't possible."
I'll be straight with you. I catch myself saying it too.
There are days I say "I'm too tired" or "I can't do this today." And the second those words leave my mouth, I get mad at myself.
Because I know what I'm doing.
I'm quitting.
That's all "I can't" is. Quitting out loud. Giving in. Letting the negativity win.
Ask yourself honestly. What are you doing when you say "I can't"?
You're giving up.
And here's what I believe about giving up.
If you quit, you fail.
But if you never quit — you cannot fail.
You can struggle. You can go slow. You can fall down. But you cannot fail if you keep going.
If you don't quit, you can't fail.
So when I catch myself, I flip it. Out loud. Not in my head. Out loud.
"I'm great."
"I'm smart."
"Everything is possible."
"I can achieve anything."
"I'm energized."
"Today will be great."
The words you say to yourself become the story you live. Don't underestimate that.
I also fill my head with people who are winning. Podcasts. Speakers. People who kept going when things got hard.
Now let me tell you about Rief.
Rief started training with us right after he turned 12. He's still 12.
He has setbacks. He has limitations. Some days the workout is tough.
He walks in anyway.
Week after week. No excuses. No "I can't." Just work.
He's not a kid who has it easy. He's a kid who decided not to quit.
And then there's Tatiana.
Tatiana has been with us for a couple of years. She came in and put in the work. Week after week, month after month. She didn't give up when progress felt slow. She didn't quit when it got hard.
She just kept showing up.
And today her health and her life look completely different.
Not because she had a perfect start.
Because she never stopped.
That's the formula. Show up. Don't quit. Don't say "I can't."
The results follow.
